We’re delighted to introduce Eniola, one of our Programme Facilitators with a strong commitment to social impact. Having previously taken part in the internship programme at Learning Connected, she understands the immense value of gaining practical experience while working with social enterprises across the globe. Her journey from intern to facilitator highlights the power of mentorship and continuous learning. We’re proud to have Eniola on our team!

As a recent SOAS Law graduate with a passion for social impact, I’m thrilled to be a Programme Facilitator at Learning Connected. Having previously been an intern in the micro-internship programme myself, I’ve experienced firsthand how valuable it is to develop employable skills while working with social enterprises across Africa and Asia.

In my current role, I lead weekly feedback sessions to keep the interns engaged, help them reflect on their progress and allow the host organisation to take note of and feedback on their work. These sessions create a space where I can ensure students are connecting with their roles, contributing value to host organisations, and understanding how to grow throughout the programme. By facilitating these meetings, I support interns in developing essential skills like communication, time management and problem solving.

This role has been rewarding and a great growth opportunity. It’s taught me how to foster a collaborative and supportive group dynamic, adapt my communication to different audiences and guide young people navigating the early stages of their career, something I’ve been through myself in recent years.

Being a part of Learning Connected feels meaningful because it aligns with my passion for supporting others and driving global change. Contributing to a programme that empowers students to succeed while making an impact has been truly fulfilling.
